This is a custom 9” BFD Vixen in a super cool Mother of Pearl shell we got from Maui - they call it 'Injured Baitfish' and we think they created a dead ringer with this unique color. The flash and iridescence from this shell is gorgeous and very fishy! We created the insert and got the shell to create a custom lure for our Sharkbite skirt combo. This beauty has a pale pink insert, Injured Baitfish MOP shell on both sides and the top, and a strip of white MOP on the belly. Of course, this lure also sports our Real-Life Taxidermy-Style fish eyes that are about as close to the real thing as possible.
This skirt combination is our longtime favorite outer 'sharkbite' over the classic Lop Chong inner for max contrast and effect.
