This is a custom 9” BFD Vixen in a bright, high contrast blue & white theme using Silver Lip Mother of Pearl Shell and a matching high contrast skirt pattern.
This lure style was created specifically for a good customer of ours that requested these colors and pattern for fishing in the Gulf. We made a few extras so our other customers could enjoy this bright new design as well! Sometimes color doesn't matter when you troll for marlin, as long as you get them interested with high contrast and visibility ... this trolling lure fits the bill.
The blue glowing insert is tricked out with shiny iridescent Silver Lip Mother of Pearl on both sides, and in Jana’s trademark fluid design on the top of the head. The blue hologram glitter is a unique aqua color and adds some flashy appeal.
The blue hologram tape on the bottom provides a little attention-getter for any predator looking UP at its belly. Of course, this lure also sports our Real-Life Taxidermy-Style fish eyes that are about as close to the real thing as possible.
This skirt combination is similar to "spot" but in a gorgeous hologram blue: Over a bright white inner skirt that glows like crazy, this combo produces maximum contrast. See the glow photos and you will note the texture and contrast that shows even in low light conditions.
These 9″ plungers are perfectly designed and balanced for stability and action. Every lure is hand crafted with true belly weighting to prevent spinning and keep it stable and performing in the water like it should. Our unique oval saddles give every lure a lifelike profile.
